THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
From what we understand, our scholarship contests aren’t only interesting—they’re fun! Every year, we select a theme and ask applicants to submit an original, creative piece that explores the theme’s ideas. Here, the world is the applicant’s oyster. Themes are announced in the Spring, and submissions are due July 31st.
THE WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT FUND
Celebrating and showing profound appreciation and support for the women in our Basque communities is pretty darn important to us. This fund is designed to support women who need financial assistance in shaping our communities, furthering our culture, and enhancing our Basque identity. Applications for fund recipients are due March 31st.
THE CREATOR’S FUND
“Stories are a communal currency of humanity.” -Tahir Shah, in Arabian Nights. No truer words… and this is why we’re so deeply committed to the creative souls in our greater community. This fund is for the artist committed to a project that tells a story about the Basque culture. Applications for fund recipients are due March 31st.
THE GENERAL FUND
It’s fair to say that we are an energetic, passionate, and open-minded group focused on our mission. This fund helps us maintain and enhance our current programs.
